Common questions
Your card starts counting only when you tap "Activate" in the Copenhagen Card app — not when you buy it. Buy in advance, activate when you arrive in Copenhagen. Activation is irreversible: once started, the clock runs continuously.
Not free, but heavily discounted. Each adult can add up to 2 Kids cards (ages 3–11) at a special rate. From the 3rd child onwards, a Youth card is required even for ages 3–11. Children 0–2 travel free without a card.
Discover includes airport transfers in both directions (metro, bus, train) as part of zone 1–99 transport. Hop does not — you'll need a separate ticket (~€9.70 return).
Yes — free cancellation up to 24 hours before your start date via GetYourGuide. After activation in the app, refunds are not possible. Full refund for unredeemed cards within 6 months from purchase. Cards can also be exchanged within 12 months if needed.
